Get to know what true snowmobiling is like with experienced guides riding along your side through great trails in full safety. We take our business very seriously. Your safety is uppermost in our minds when designing a tour. Before all tours leave, we check weather, trail and ice conditions, not only to insure your safety, but also to make sure that your tour meets your expectations.
Extreme Tours is a family operated business, and has been in operation since early 2000. Your guides, Bill and son, Mark, have both been snowmobiling since childhood. Bill has participated in Challenge Canada which was a 3-man snowmobile race from Hearst, Ontario to Montreal, Quebec covering approximately 2,500 kilometers. He also has 13 years experience as a paramedic. Mark was a snow cross racer for 3 years, participating in the Nor Can 250 in Hearst, Ontario. Both guides have the qualifications and experience necessary to handle any situation which may arise.

Two miles from our base camp you find Abitibi Canyon, offering challenging hills, 7 miles of ravines and canyons, steep climbs, deep powder and the closest thing to mountain riding you’ll find in northern Ontario.
This tour includes 3 full days of guide service, two nights accommodations in a remote cabin, 2 breakfast, 2 suppers. This tour can be done with a short track machine, gas is available along the way. Your guide will pick you up at Abitibi canyon. Total mileage for this tour is 520 miles return. Groups of ten to twelve people are preferred but we will try to accommodate smaller groups.
