Ontario’s Wilderness Region not only wants you to become a partner at a great price, we also want to provide you with a very value added opportunity. Our association is very dedicated to offer one of the best partnership models out there for our operators - therefore we have added continual services that may not have seemed important before.
Measurement and Control
This day and age, it is a necessity to make sure measurement is taken on any type of marketing you do. One of the reasons we as an association wanted to have our business online was the fact that it is easier to track. You can track where your visitors are coming from, what pages they clicked on, how long they stayed, and where they exited (just to name a few). Google Analytics is a really in depth program that helps manage your marketing goals online.
Ontario’s Wilderness Region has been using this program to help track visitors on the site and to help potential partners realize the importance and popularity of the new web portal. We will continue to track through this program and offer reports to our partners – to keep them updated with current information.
As for other measurement tools, we will be using other initiatives to track the success of our other marketing programs:

2) Tracking of the new website through Google Analytics

f. Time spent

This information is consistently shared and will continue to be shared with tourism partners within the region. It is a way to keep everyone up to date with OWR’s successes and possible failures.
Free Listings
As you can see on the OWR portal, each potential partner has been listed on our Google maps. Your location may not be the exact – however this gets re-adjusted once you become a partner.
We also offer a free listing in our travel guide. In 2009, Ontario’s Wilderness Region is going to a year-round travel guide. Inside the guide there will be a trip planner that will include the name of your business and your sub pillars offered. Partners will also have their contact information listed.
